Industry has the joint problem of protecting its workforce and its neighbours. The sources of noise from industry are many. Our work covers Noise at Work surveys through control of noise at source. Noise affects our lives in different ways and environmental noise is the prime complaint received by Environmental Health Officers. The need to understand the source of sound is therefore vital.

Different aspects of sound can contribute to different noise problems due to room or hall acoustics. Evaluation is therefore required for absorbent materials to dampen the effects of sound within a building. MCM provides detailed reports on investigations using a graphical presentation on each event.
