In today's increasingly competitive market, low costs and reduced manufacturing times are expected without compromising production quality. These high specifications can only be reached by implementing a preventative approach to production machinery maintenance.

Predictive Maintenance (PdM) reduces machine down time and also improves production consistency and quality. This is done by monitoring and, where possible, controlling factors that may accelerate wear resulting in machine failure. This philosophy is known as Condition Monitoring (CM) or Condition Based Monitoring (CBM).

Condition Monitoring Goals

  • The goal is to identify changes in the condition of a machine that will indicate some potential failure.
  • Physical characteristics are identified that collectively indicate the current condition of the machine.
  • Each of these characteristics is measured, analysed, and recorded so that trends can be recognised.

Our Engineers are experienced in a wide number of Industries including:

Offshore Oil & Gas

Automotive

Process Plant

Power generation

Marine

Paper industry

Transport

Brewing and canning

Chemical

General manufacturing

Pharmaceutical

Food

Machine condition monitoring can be applied to many conditions, typically temperature, vibration, over voltage or current and liquid level; in fact any condition that can be detected by a sensor. Consideration of these factors, together with plans for current and future duty, allow timely, planned maintenance which incurs minimum lost profits and /or maintenance spend.
